Your application can include your partner, and any dependent children up to the age of 19. Children who are 20 and over, and non-dependants, will need to make their own application.

Including dependent children on a Partnership Based visitor visa

You can include any dependent children up to the age of 19. You will need to use form INZ1205, to include your dependent children to your application.

Children who are 20 and over, and non-dependants, will need to make their own application.

There is a reference on Partnership based application form INZ 1198 which may suggest that only children under 5 can be included here, but this is only the case if your dependent child over the age of 5 wants to attend school while in NZ. In this case, they should be making a separate application for a student visa.

What if I can’t fit (all) my children on the visitor visa application form?

Please use form INZ 1205 to include any dependent children that don’t fit on your application form.
