What is INZ 1278 used for?

This form is used if you are applying for residence under 2021 Resident Visa Category.

If your partner or child holds (or has applied for) a temporary entry visa based on their connection to you, you must include them in your 2021 Resident Visa application.

There are no application fees linked to including eligible family members in your current 2021 Resident Visa application.

In the instance where you're a dependent child aged 25 or above and meet the criteria for inclusion in your parents' 2021 Resident Visa application, please use INZ 1275 form instead.

Who can fill out INZ 1278?

The principal applicant to the visa applicant should fill out this form. The form does not ask the applicants to sign it, so entering the information asked into the form will be sufficient.

How to fill out INZ 1278

The form requires various sections to be filled out, including personal details of the principal applicant, partner's personal details (if applicable), details of dependent children, character requirements, health requirements, and declarations by both the principal applicant and any person who assisted in completing the form.

Applicants must also provide copies of passports or certificates of identity, recent face images for each applicant, and other relevant evidence as outlined in the form.
