ANZSCO Description

Operates stationary and mobile cranes, hoists, lifts and winches to lift, move and place materials, equipment and people in areas such as building sites, factories, mines, sawmills, wharves and shipyards. Registration or licensing may be required.

Green List Requirements

Role offered must be as a Crane Operator only. Remuneration for the employment over the 24 month qualifying period must be $38.56 per hour or above), or the equivalent annual salary ($80,200 per annum)

The applicant must also have a New Zealand Level 3 Certificate in Cranes with at least one Level 4 specialisation (or overseas equivalent) at the time of application for residence.

Minimum Pay Requirement

A minimum hourly pay rate of $38.56 is required.

Residency Pathway

If you are working in this role and are eligible, you can apply under Green List Work to Residence after 2 years working in New Zealand.
