What to provide
You will need to provide:
- Fingerprint Report (can be obtained at your local NZ Post Office or Police Station)
NOTE
The Fingerprint Report (only for people who are residing in New Zealand) must be authenticated by New Zealand Department of Internal Affairs and stamped by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade, before sending it to the Embassy, with all requirements listed below.
- Passport colour-scan of the first page/bio page (old and new passports if applicable)
- Most recent page that contains your Kuwaiti Residence – please do not send older/irrelevant pages
- Copy of previous Kuwaiti Civil ID Card – if you do not have this, please email the Embassy with your Kuwaiti Residence to see if you are eligible to apply
- One passport size photograph
- Enclose a prepaid self-addressed signature required return courier envelope
- Scan all documents to JPG and send to Embassy’s email
NOTE
Authentication process from the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) – once the applicant has obtained this fingerprint document, please send the original to DIA along with the application form.
Fees to pay
You may need to pay a fee. Contact the issuing authority for fee and payment information.
Processing time
You should allow enough time to obtain this document before it is required for your visa application. Contact the issuing authority to find out how long your request for a police certificate will take.
Further information
Your certificate or document must be less than 6 months old when you submit your visa application to Immigration New Zealand.
