Automotive Technician
We are searching for a skilled Automotive Technician with 3-5 years Dealership experience to join an established Ford and Mazda dealership located in the picturesque Coromandel region, in Thames.
Our client is looking for a Senior Technician that can complement their existing team, guide and share knowledge with junior technicians and at times support the Service Manager in a leadership capacity.
Break free from the hustle and bustle of major cities and bid farewell to traffic woes! This presents an excellent opportunity to reside and work near some of New Zealand's finest beaches and mountains.
The responsibilities for this role encompass diagnostics, general repairs, servicing, PDI, and warranty work. Ongoing manufacturer courses will be provided to ensure the maintenance of the highest standards.

- WOF certification training provided by our client, if not currently certified

Requirements for the role
- Automotive Trade qualified Technician
- High level of diagnostic and fault-finding ability
- Be comfortable with both Petrol and Diesel vehicles
- Ford and Mazda experience highly regarded
- 3-5 Year Dealership experience within a franchise
- Be able to teach and share knowledge with workshop team members
- Full and valid driver's license
- Enjoy a more rural lifestyle, away from the city lights.
Although our client represents Ford and Mazda, they are open to looking at other brand experienced technicians as they can provide the foundation for further development and brand certification.
