Working within a designated geographical area (area details included below), we seek passionate and reliable people to connect with rural farmers who are willing to commit to be involved in the Calf & Rural Scheme with ABC NZ. As an ABC Calf & Rural Scheme Canvasser, you will help a great cause by obtaining donations and pledges that will go towards supporting people with intellectual disabilities. You can help ABC support people with intellectual disabilities in rural communities around New Zealand, something farmers have been doing for more than 41 years.
This is a part-time role, flexible to your needs; depending on the size of the area canvassed it could take approximately a few weeks, needing to be completed over a couple months, starting May 2024.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring.

We need friendly, outgoing people who love meeting and connecting with people in their rural community.
The role involves contacting farmers who currently donate to the scheme (names supplied) as well as meeting new potential donating farmers.
You will be someone with strong communication skills and customer service skills is a plus.
You will need a reliable vehicle, mobile phone, and an email address.
