About the business:
ABC is a Gastro Pub on the busy SH1 of Ashburton. Our busy establishment is currently looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. ABC is open 7 days a week from 7:30am until late.
About the roles:
The roles will require experienced, energetic and above all passionate individuals to work together in a small team to assist in continuing to build a strong reputation. Must be available to work full time hours & a mixture of days, nights & weekends. Competitive salary of $25 - $32 per hour dependent on role and experience.
Chef de Partie:
- Follow the guidance of the Head and Sous Chefs in preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes
- Put effort in optimising the cooking process with attention to speed and quality
- Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
- Enforce strict health and hygiene standards
Skills & Experience:
The following traits will be beneficial:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
- Experience in a fast paced kitchen environment
- Be willing to work in different sections of the kitchen
- Ability to work well under pressure
