This is why ABC Care Home located in Rangiora is searching for like-mind Cleaner to join our Housekeeping and Laundry teams. This is a Permanent, Part-time position working Saturday and Sunday 8.30AM to 4PM.

As part of our Housekeeping and Laundry team, you will help create a homely and healthy place for our residents by providing an exceptional cleaning service to the Care Home. You will help us rise to the challenges of enriching the lives of society’s most vulnerable.

Where You Will Make an Impact:

- Maintain a high standard of cleaning as set out on the cleaning schedule.
- Managing cleaning supplies.
- Treat residents with respect and dignity.
- Adhere to policies and procedures.
- Ensuring all care is taken with the residents' personal clothing and returned to owners.
- Operating all laundry equipment as specified.
- Meeting of daily schedule to keep laundry up to date and advising Manager of any issues that impact on the maintenance of this.
- Maintaining clean/dirty delineation areas within the laundry.
- Monitoring of linen supplies and advising line manager of replacement needs.
- Ensure all residents are treated with dignity and respect.

What About You:

- Previous cleaning and/or laundry experience in a similar environment is preferable.
- Be prepared to roll up your sleeve and get stuck into whatever needs to get done.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm, care, and passion for making a difference in our residents’ lives.
- Must be available to work on Saturday to Sunday 8.30AM-4PM.
- Reliable transport or travel arrangements.
