Queenstown's largest hotel, ABC has 273 rooms catering for leisure guests, incentives, and small meetings. Busy year round with changing markets throughout the year, situated in beautiful Queenstown – a four season alpine resort. About the role

We cater for large volumes, managing a variety of different menus at one time in different outlets. Breakfast catering to between 200 and 500 covers per day - buffet, small meetings, in-room dining, bar snacks, and restaurant - à la carte. Continuously cultivate a positive work environment, lead a great team of 11-14 staff. Experience in a similar position with 5+ years chef’s experience, proven leadership skills, learning & development of the team, leading an established team of international chefs, organized and able to plan, with a strong customer and administrative focus. Develop and maintain relationships with preferred suppliers, work with budgets, wages, food costs, and monthly reports. Support compliance in all aspects & food safety standards, create a well-planned vision for the team and Department, contribute to the Hotel Management team, contribute to a successful hotel, work closely with F&B and support departments. Focus on delivering great food + meeting the markets that we cater to, work with us on food waste methods & environmental initiatives.
