About us

We are a Country Hotel in a town of 12 people with 30 dogs and 30,000 sheep, right on the iconic Otago Central Rail Trail, close to fly fishing spots, 2.5 hours to Queenstown and Wanaka, 1.45 hours to Dunedin, 10 minutes from Ranfurly.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum of Three years experience
Minimum Level 4 Tertiary Qualification
Excellent Communication Skills
Ability and experience to lead a hard working and dedicated team

Tasks & Responsibilities

- Cook to order
- Preparation of food for daily and specials menu
- Order products
- Assist to develop new menu items
- Liaise with staff
- Communicate with customers
- Show an excellent eye for detail
- Show a high standard of skill and pride in presenting food
- Show a dedication to hygiene
- Able to work within a talented team of dedicated hard working individuals
- Willingness to learn and contribute in a busy kitchen
- A big smile
