We are looking for a technician to join our team in Tauranga.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get stuck into a career working outdoors with electronics!

Duties include:
- Assembling, configuring, and deploying telemetry equipment and sensors
- Monitoring field instruments, processing of data and reporting
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing problems with electronic equipment
- Instrument data integration with our software
- Supporting existing projects and customers through periodic field maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure continuity of high-quality service

What You'll Bring:
- A full New Zealand driver's license as some travel will be required
- An interest in working outdoors
- You'll have proven interest or basic experience in electronics
- Similar industry experience would be beneficial
- Ability to lift items weighing 20kg+ regularly
- Have practical experience using various power and hand tools
- Have good communication skills and will be comfortable interfacing with various customer representatives on projects
- Have desire for ongoing learning and the ability to develop new skills and knowledge independently
- Be reasonably competent on a computer, although the focus of this role will be practical fieldwork
- Want a job that involves a mix of in-office technical work and getting outdoors to deploy equipment. The role will often take you to remote and interesting locations to carry out fieldwork alongside our other team members.

You will be part of a team but will be required to work independently under the direction of the Team Leader.
