We're offering a permanent, part-time position located at our vibrant Dunedin ABC Services location! This role entails 55 hours per fortnight, worked between Monday and Sunday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with one weekend shift every other week. $23.15 per hour, starting salary!

In the pivotal position of Schedule Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to cultivate strong and trusting relationships with Support Workers and their managers (Service Managers), ensuring the seamless delivery of rosters. This crucial coordination is instrumental in guaranteeing uninterrupted services for the individuals we support, even in the face of unforeseen challenges. As a Schedule Coordinator, you'll be extensively engaged in frequent phone communication with Support Workers, managing advance rosters, and promptly handling short-notice sick leave requirements. Your ability to remain resilient and composed in our high-pressure environment will be the key to consistently achieving the required deliverables, even amidst unexpected circumstances.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring

Previous administration experience (scheduling or rostering experience highly desirable) Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a professional telephone manner. Experience with Conflict Management and the ability to reach an outcome quickly. Experience working within a variable environment and the ability to prioritise to achieve desired outcomes. Confidence with computer systems including Microsoft Office suite, and the aptitude to learn new systems quickly.
