About the Role:

Our Procurement Team is growing as we shift our focus towards strategic procurement, prioritising cost savings, innovation, and efficiency enhancements for ABC NZ. In this newly established role, you will become immersed in bringing our Procurement Strategy to life, supporting the business to realise the benefits that have been identified, while continuously looking for ways to deliver more. You will have the opportunity to be involved with strategic sourcing, managing mid-level supplier relationships and performance, and be an advocate for change.

Where You'll Make an Impact:

Provide strategic procurement guidance and assistance to ABC NZ's diverse business units. Utilise data insights to drive informed decision-making and optimise 'go to market' strategies. Foster strong relationships with the supplier market, emphasising considerations such as quality, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness in contractual agreements. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to grasp their specific procurement requirements and spearhead procurement initiatives to fulfill those needs effectively. Proactively identify opportunities for streamlining processes and achieving cost savings. Manage procurement categories efficiently. Assist in change management efforts to support the business through transitions. Champion a culture of transparent and accountable procurement practices, setting a positive example. Dynamic, hands-on role, end-to-end role supporting the Procurement Manager.

What About You:

Strong knowledge of procurement best practice. Understanding of procurement in a corporate or healthcare setting. Confident in data analytics, contract negotiation, and contract management. Experienced vendor and supplier relationship manager. Experience in change management. Proven expertise with analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication, collaboration, and reporting skills. Expertise in planning, organisational, computer literacy, and prioritisation skills. Connection to our core customer-centric ABC values where ethics and integrity are a must.
