From our famous metre-pizzas to our mouth-watering Tiramisu, we are looking for someone to join our team.

They are producing, besides the famous Pizza by the Metre (and half metre) traditional fare as lasagne, cannelloni, parmigiana di melanzane delicious small bites as arancini, croquette, meat balls, and more all available for eat in, pickup and delivery.

If you wish to learn everything about Italian cuisine this is the perfect occasion to learn from the best. We are looking for two applicants to fill the vacancies. We are offering a very competitive salary of $29.66 to $33.00 per hour based on your experience, full time with guaranteed minimum of 30h/week, this permanent position requires attention to detail, working in all kitchen sections and flexibility in your role to cover all kitchen needs on a rotational basis, from Antipasti/Cold Larder to the Hotline and Pasta and Pizza Line. You will work closely with our Head chef and restaurant team to constantly strive to create both traditional and modern Italian inspired cuisine, with an emphasis also on sustainability and constantly changing menu.

We are looking for candidates that already have experience and are eager to learn more and grow in the company with further training and mentorship.

We have an opportunity of a Chef de Partie - Pizza Chef to step straight into things. It is preferably their craft, someone that wants to take their career and skills to the next level under the direction of our Executive Chef.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- At least one year of previous relevant experience
- Knowledge of Italian food and culture preferable
- High standard of hygiene and organisation
- Attention to detail
- Work as a part of the team
- Great communication skills
- A passion for modern, relevant cuisine with international technique
- Need to be creative and innovative
- A driven and dedicated approach to your career
- A desire to succeed, grow and develop further
- Ability to work under pressure
- Entitlement to work in New Zealand (open to sponsoring the right candidate)

In this role you will be responsible for:

- To organise your assigned section and ensure it runs efficiently and productively.
- Familiarize yourself with the other kitchen sections, promoting flexibility and productivity.
- Ensure all food produced is in line with kitchen recipes and standards.
- Check all food is stored and handled as per current food health and hygiene regulations.
- Be responsible for the daily cleanliness of all kitchen wet and dry areas.
- Ensure yours, and other work areas, equipment and sections are kept clean at all times, in accordance with current health & hygiene regulations.
