Overview:

Seeking a skilled Painter with a minimum of five years. This role offers a dynamic work environment with a variable schedule - a chance to advance with our growing team.

Responsibilities:

Painting and Finishing: Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. The ideal candidate will be adept at ensuring a smooth, uniform appearance without drips or inconsistencies, focusing on high-quality outcomes.

Surface Preparation: Thoroughly prepare surfaces for painting, which includes cleaning, scraping, sanding, and repairing holes and cracks to ensure optimal paint application.

Colour Mixing: Mix and blend paint to achieve desired colours and textures, adhering to project specifications and design requirements.

Detail Work: Execute fine detail work with precision, particularly on complex surfaces and areas requiring meticulous attention.

Safety and Clean-up: Maintain a strict adherence to safety protocols and ensure work areas are clean and organized post-completion.

Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections of painted surfaces to ensure the finish meets the established standards and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

- Minimum high school diploma or Trade certification
- Minimum of five years of proven experience in painting and/or plastering.
- Must clear pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
- Must have a Full Driver’s License

Position Details:

- Based in Christchurch, with a minimum of 30 hours weekly.
- Scheduled shifts; the company operates 7 days a week. Shifts will be assigned.
- Pay $28 - $30 per hour, negotiable based on experience.
